World Geography studies continents, countries, oceans and important physical features of the Earth. It is an important section for UPSC and competitive examinations.
Continents of the World
A continent is a large continuous landmass on Earth. There are seven continents in the world.

Asia is the largest continent, while Australia is the smallest continent.

Africa

The International Date Line is located near 180° longitude. Crossing it changes the calendar date.
